Girls have it tough right?
Although I enjoy makeup shopping, putting on makeup and trying out new products as much as the next girl don't you just wish sometimes you could wake up, brush your hair and walk out the door without having to leave at least a fifteen minute gap to put your makeup on?
Some products are also so pricey, I dread to think how much of my money I've spent over the years on makeup alone.
And don't even get me started of finding the correct foundation shade..
All this aside I've managed to find (with the help of watching YouTube and reading all your blog posts) and come up - by process of elimination - my own everyday quick, easy and reasonably priced makeup routine which at one time I thought I'd never find (I mean how can you possibly know what the right product is to buy when you step into Boots or Superdrug and are greeted with fifty different makeup brands all with hundreds of products!?)
(I'll put all of the products in order of which I put them on so it's easy to follow if you'd like to)
Starting with concealer.
Theres a never ending debate on whether concealer or foundation should be applied first and after having a lengthy DM on Twitter with another blogger who also was wondering the same we came to the conclusion that it all depends on the consistency and thickness of the concealer you use. With this particular one I put it on first.
This is quite a proud moment in my makeup shopping experiences as pretty much all the products I use have been recommended by others where as this one I found completely on my own (gold stars all round).
It's not a liquid but more of a thick powder consistency which would rub off foundation if it were placed over the top.
This covers up the circles under my eyes and all the red blemishes around my nose and chin. It is also PERFECT at covering up spots.

Foundation for myself has been a nightmare of a journey. The first ever one I used was the Rimmel Wake Me Up which I soon swapped for the Rimmel Long Lasting Perfection Foundation both of which I had seen YouTubers raving about. After a while I decided they were both a bit too thick as I hate the feeling of makeup on my face I wanted something with good coverage and a natural feel - and I definitely found it.
Loreal true match foundation at the moment is perfect for my skin. I barely use any when putting it on yet it covers everywhere I want it to.
I started off using this in the shade Ivory and then moved onto Linen but neither of them on their own were my correct skin shade. Ivory much too light and Linen that tiny bit too dark. So once again I took to Twitter and a lovely blogger (if you're reading this give yourself a pat on the back as you are a SAVIOUR) answered my prayers and told me just to mix the two shades together. Simple.
Although I did ponder over the fact that I had never thought of this myself as its so simple and easy!
Mixing these two shades together makes my perfect skin shade and although this means I must buy too foundations when shopping (for now until I find one bottle that contains the shade I make with these two) I don't mind so much as I'd rather pay a little bit more and be the right shade than risk going out looking paler than Caspar the friendly ghost again.

I received this set from a friend for Christmas and before had never even considered attempting to Contour my face as it always looked way to complex.
Inside the lid of this is a little instruction on where to put on the highlighter, bronzer and sculptor.
It comes with three shades but for a quick everyday makeup I only ever use the middle bronzer shade just to add some natural colour to my cheeks and also help to define my cheeks.
I apply by sucking in my cheeks and dabbing a small amount to the top of my cheek bone and blending in using the brush shown.

Colorband eye shadow crayons are the quickest and easiest eye-makeup I can find anywhere.
I bought one of these when I was newly trying out eye shadows in a goldy colour for Autumn.
This purple shade I discovered by watching VelvetGh0st YouTube and instantly went out and bought one.
I apply this by simple lining the edge of my top eyelid with it and then filling in the rest of my lid. The best thing about this product is you can darken areas to give a smokey look simply by filling in one part a bit more than the rest. I usually add a little extra to the outer edge of my eye for a quick smokey affect.
The brush shown is used to blend the colour into the crease of my eye and give the overall colour a softer look.

If I have a little more time on my hands I like to add a bit more over the top of the ColorBand to create the smokey eye look a bit more.
I use the top colour to the outer-edge of my lid and blend into the rest of my lid so the outer part is darker. The using the purple shade below I blend this into the crease of my eye lid to bring out the purple a bit more.
It's very quick and easy to do and normally takes around five-six minutes all together for both eyes.

I'm quite lucky for the fact I have naturally long eyelashes, but unlucky as they tend to fall straight rather than curled so it's a never ending battle to find a mascara that will keep my lashes curled upwards for long amounts of time. Admittedly I do use eyelash curlers and take them in my handbag with me everywhere I go (as I cannot stand straight lashes), but these two mascaras together make my life a lot easier!
I apply the one on the left (Rimmel Super Curler 24hr) first to my lashes as it has a curved brush which helps to curl the lashes upwards. I then apply the Revlon mascara over the top and it honestly lengthens my lashes SO much I have to be careful I don't apply too much and have mega ridiculous lashes.
The Revlon mascara is one I purchased recently as its a new product released and I was surprised at how short the brush is when I opened it! But don't be miss-leaded somehow it lengthens and volumes your lashes and its a m a z i n g.

These are my go-too makeup products on a general day to day basis, and overall the cost isn't too extreme!
The best thing about buying in drugstores is that every time you go in these deals and money-saving offers on so theres always a chance to get the products for a bit cheaper, and the quality of the brands I've mentioned above are all perfect for everyday makeup - sometimes the cheaper and more affordable products are the better option and I love going out and seeing what I can find.
